Circumstances have forced a change of location. The walk is now:

Along the Wey to Wrecclesham

 Start 2pm: from inside the Shepherd and Flock roundabout. Free parking on road near to Shepherd and Flock. The walk follows both sides of the River Wey as closely as possible upstream and downstream between the Shepherd and Flock and Wrecclesham.
 
There are a number of points of interest. We’ll get a good understanding of how Farnham grew to be the shape it is now – from medieval monk paths to Victorian  engineering.
 
The walk is about 5 miles long and very flat. It involves some road walking and crossing the A31.
