Imtiaz Shams came to the UK from Saudi Arabia as a devout Muslim. Growing older he began to question his faith. Feeling fearful and isolated he was uncertain if it was possible to stop being a Muslim.
Finding strength and identity with others similarly placed enabled him to leave Islam and co-found “Faith to Faithless” which helps people who leave conservative religions.
Imtiaz works in technology and is a trustee of Humanists UK (formerly the British Humanists Association).
Everyone is welcome!!
