“Faith to faithless and the discrimination faced by minorities within minorities”

Sunday September 17th at  7 for 7.30pm

At Daniel Hall, Long Garden Walk, Farnham, GU9 7HX

Growing older Imtiaz Shams increasingly questioned his faith. Having felt fearful and isolated, he found strength and identity from others similarly placed enabling him to move on. He co-founded “Faith to Faithless”  with another ex-Muslim which helps people from a wide range of faith backgrounds, not only Muslim but also Jehovah’s Witness and others, who face discrimination because they no longer subscribe to the faith they have grown up in. Faith to Faithless is formally backed by Humanists UK (the new name for the British Humanist Association). Imtiaz works in technology and is a trustee of Humanists UK.

Everyone is welcome!!
