Sunday 19th July at 11 a.m.
Discover an Anglo Saxon Church, a hidden public lido and the story of the Anchoress of Shere.
This year’s walk will be around the beautiful village of Shere.

We will start at the Albury Vineyard, behind the Silent Pool then walk through the Albury Park Estate towards the hamlet of Brook onwards across open fields to Shere before returning to the vineyard for a well deserved drink amongst the vines.
The walk is just over 5 miles with a couple of hills and stiles. There will be plenty of chances to stop and admire the scenery, whilst taking in refreshments. Should you wish there will also be a chance to walk around the vines!
Start: 11a.m. in the Albury Vineyard Overflow Car Park (not the Main Car Park)
Parking and refreshments at the end:
On the basis of stopping for light refreshments at the end, we can park for FREE in the Albury Vineyard Overflow Car Park, Albury, Shere Rd Albury. GU5 9BW.
To get to the Vineyard Overflow car park, drive through the Silent Pool Car Park following the signs for the vineyard.
Please car share if possible
