How best to reform our Prisons?

Dr Sarah Lewis, Prison Reformer, Lead on Prison Culture.

Director Penal Reform Solutions Dr Lewis is currently working for the Council of Europe, developing, training and evaluating rehabilitative programmes in prisons in Eastern Europe.

Further to this, she is working closely in English prisons, to develop and improve prison environments to achieve greater safety and well-being.

At a time when our prisons are overflowing, while those in other European countries are seeing a falling population, this should be an interesting insight from an expert.

Note: This talk will now follow a brief Farnham Humanists AGM (due to the February meeting being cancelled because of our speaker having flu.)
