Visit to Lincluden Nursery

Sunday August 23rd between 2pm and 4pm

Lincluden Nursery, The Cedars, Shaftsbury Road, Bisley, Surrey GU24 9EN
Organizer – Alan Montgomery, chair@farnham.humanist.org.uk
Hosts – Keith and Christine Hayward

Humanists get preview of the nursery’s Open Days, when the National Canna Collection, 150 varieties, is shown to visitors.

At 3:00pm Keith Hayward will give a short, or long if you ask lots of questions, talk about life with cannas. For cannas, arrive any time 2:00 or 4:00, but arrive before 3:00 for the talk.

There is a polytunnel in case of inclement weather, and hopefully the heady scent of Ginger lilies (Hedychium).  Being semi-outdoors, the nursery hasn’t used face masks to date, but CV rules at the time, plus safety common-sense will prevail.

If you plan to attend please email the organizer of the event.

We may have to restrict numbers so email early if possible.  For outdoor events make sure you have a face mask, and keep socially distanced from all who are not part of your family/bubble

The organizer will email attendees the day before, in case regulations or other cause changes the plan.
